May 16th 1:30 to 3:30PM at the Defoor Center in Atlanta, GA
Atlanta, GA-The Defoor Centre is tickled pink with the arrival of Cindy Davis and her wonderful paintings that will be on display in the Forum
Gallery. She will have about 70 all together and will be a great way to start the summer with her works of dancers, trees and nature- all things bright
and beautiful. Her showing will last from about mid June to early November. The show is free and open to all ages-a must summer collection to view!
A closing reception will be announced at a later date.
Cindy Davis is a self taught painter, a result, after spending too much time in the corporate world, a way to vent or explain herself. She was born in
Memphis and moved to Albany in 2005 where her new career started to blossom. Her bright colors jump for joy, in all her works, whether it’s a dancer,
fire, or trees you can feel them move and sway as you view them. She has embraced the social networking aspect to enhance her platforms in becoming
more available to the public. She blogs on everything that enters her mind why does she do what she does to Where Am I? She takes advantage of her
business mind and puts it to use when trying out new avenues, but always keeping her eye on the canvas.
She recently had a great article in the Albany (GA) Herald which she was quoted saying, ““The social implications of Facebook and Twitter are enormous,”
Davis said. “They have truly and completely helped my business. Usually one contact can lead to another. I got involved in a Twitterfest in San
Francisco and that helped me. The people I met online and I still stay in touch.” (Albany Herald-Cindy Davis)
Art Director Jill Kettles, is so thrilled to have Davis in the Forum, “I find that Cindy’s work is a combination of color, fluid movement and a
spiritual journey,” She is the definition of what an artist work should be: consistent — she has a certain style that says ‘CINDY!’
As hot the sun beams down on us, come to the Defoor Centre for a break – Chef makes a good salad and their lemonade is to die for. And if you find

district.
